ABOUT

The South West Transport Society was formed by a group of friends involved in the Commercial Motor Trade and would get together for a friendly game of golf  on a monthly basis  usually on a Thursday at different courses in the South West  of England and Wales. In the 1980's its membership grew to in excess of 75 members and they played 9 holes of Medal golf  in the morning followed by 18 holes of 4 ball  better ball Stableford in the afternoons. The day was finished off with a good meal and wine. Prize giving for the lucky winners.

Today, the format has changed slightly with 18 holes of golf playing  different games dependant on the numbers followed by a meal and Prize giving.  Cups that have been played  for since the start of the Society are still  played for today.

New  Members are always welcome to join us and  you do not have to be involved in the Motor Trade.
